I don’t remember when our whole family went to a movie theater last time, but I remember it was a disaster. Red Bear was no more than 3 years old and he just couldn’t stay quiet and sit straight, so Bob and I had to take turns walking him outside the theater every 15 minutes or so, so that Red Bear would not disturb other audience members.

Last Sunday, we finally decided to go to a movie again, since Bob and Red Bear really interested in Disney’s new “Frankenweenie” after they saw the preview. I have to say, we enjoyed a perfect movie date.  Red Bear watched the movie all the way through just a like a little man with good behavior, and I could tell he was very into the movie and invested a lot of emotion into it.

For me, the movie is not my normal type, but I did enjoy the outing very much.  The most enjoyable moments?  When Red Bear fed the popcorn directly into my mouth by his little hand (he sat between Bob and me), and we shared a BIG cup of root beer [soda, not real beer] and we laughed so hard when looking at each other’s eyes during the funny parts. There was a big “love” expressed in the movie, and there was a big “love” between our little family over there.

That’s what I wore for go to see a movie, all about being comfortable.  What’s your go-to movie outfit?

In Chinese: 真的不太记得上一次全家人去看电影是什么时候了,但是我很清楚的记得那是一次很痛苦的经历. RB好象还不到3岁, 根本无办法一直坐着保持安静. 所以当时我和老公两个人每隔15分钟就带他出影厅走走. 以免他影响到其他观众.

过了大概一年, 上个周日, 我们终于决定去看场电影. RB和老公在看了迪斯尼电影”Frankenweenie” 的花絮后, 两个人兴趣极高一定要去影院看. 不得不说, 这是一次很完美的看电影经历. RB整个过程不仅仅象个小大人, 安安静静的看着电影, 我还可以看出, 他是投入很深的感情去看的. 伤心—开心—伤心—开心….

对我而言, 这部电影应该不是我平时很想看的类型, 但是却让我很享受. 最美好的部分, 是RB用他的小手不停的往我嘴里喂暴米花, 一家人就端着一大杯饮料传递来传递去轮流喝. 当看到好笑的部分三个人相视大笑.
