Put on a old Chanel (Rouge Ténèbre) lipstick today, which I haven’t  used for at least 8 years. Normally I wouldn’t keep and use any cosmetics for have over 2 years old, but this lipstick was pretty more like a good memory for me, it was my first skyline shopping on the way from France traveling back to China 10 years ago. And at that time, most of the foreign brand cosmetics sold in China at a very high price because of all kind of taxes ( I think they are still the same right now).

I have to say that, the color of this lipstick still looking smooth and fresh, moisturizing and lasting long enough. And, you know, plum/velvet lips are going to be big this Fall/Winter.  But I still question myself: should I keep using it ? Or keep it just for the memory since it is really too “old”. I need your help!

In Chinese:  在化妆盒里有一管Chanel 的名为Rouge Ténèbrer 口红, 已经至少八年没有用过了. 一般我都不太用时限超过2 年的化妆品, 但是这只口红是个例外, 其实其对我而言, 更象是一个纪念品, 记得这是10年前从法国飞回中国的飞机上在机舱里免税购物购得的, 那可是我的第一次飞机上的免税品购物, 记得当时因为各种关税的原因, 国内的很多外国品牌化妆品售价都很高 (现在应该还是这种状况吧?) , 在国外或飞机上的免税店买就实惠很多.

今天突发其想, 拿出这只口红抹抹, 没想到效果还是很好, 滋润滑溜的同时, 也很持久, 颜色刚好符合今年秋冬口红plum(杏李色)走红的趋势.

但是, 用的同时, 自己也很矛盾的, 是可以再继续用呢? 还是收藏起来算了, 毕竟这口红也算是个”古董”了. 大家来帮帮忙, 给我点建议?
