I almost forgot I have this scarf, it still has a tag on the back marked “hand-made.” It reminds me when I was in middle school, I learned how to knit from my mom, and I made myself a lot of scarves, then sweaters. I don’t remember when I stopped knitting, but I think when there are a lot of hand-made knit items in the stores with beautiful style and reasonable prices, most of people like me just don’t want to harm our eyes and waste time knitting for ourselves anymore. No doubt your own hand-made knitting is more meaningful for you or the person you give it to, so maybe one day, I will start to knit again, no excuse.
