In my whole wardrobe, what my husband hates the most are the distressed jeans — he just can’t stand to look at clothes with hole in them. I know that bother a lot of other people, too. Apparently I am OK with holes! What do you think about distressed jeans?

Yesterday we got an email from our bride-to-be niece, and she told us to pack for a bit chilly days, since they just had snow a few days ago, and in early June, temperatures there in the North Woods of Minnesota will still be around 40-degrees at night, with a daytime high of no more than 60-degrees!  Shocking for my Southern California-acclimated system!

In Chinese: 昨晚收到即将成为新娘的侄女的来信, 说是让我们准备行李的时候, 尽量准备些天气较凉时候的衣物. 她说她们明尼苏达州的那个地区前几天还在下雪, 而六月初的气温也大概只有10来度. 对在南加州温暖气候生活多年的我, 真不知道是不是能适应呢.

可想而知, 如果参加婚礼的时候只穿条单裙, 一定还蛮冷的, 说不定又把我刚刚好的咳嗽又搬回来了.(话说已经咳嗽了近一个月, 日咳夜咳, 痛苦死…)

所以今天重新又制定了一个参加婚礼的着装方案, 加件夹克是必须的. 选择一条过膝的长裙, 里面可以偷偷穿条打底裤什么的. 嘻嘻.

Here is another dress I bought that I mentioned recently in this post.  It’s so simple yet has a bit of pretty details: the ruffle shoulders. The length/the slit in the right place.  The zip in the back is not perfectly smooth, but with price of $67.88, I think this little flaw can be overlooked!

How are you doing this weekend? This Saturday morning, we ended up staying home and while a plumber works to repair a couple bad pipes around the house. Not much fun, but we finally bought our airplane tickets, reserved a rental car, and a lakefront hotel room in Minnesota where we will attend our niece’s wedding in June!  Now I am spending some time looking for wedding guest dress/shoes/bags, etc., etc., etc.  Here are some wedding guest dress ideas I have in my mind right now, which one is your favorite?
