It’s our Anniversary Morning, Roses handed picked up by Bob, and tied by me (as you can tell, those ribbons came from Net-a-Porter’s shopping bag!:))   We haven’t decided where to have dinner tonight, but we know there are a lot of sweet things going on…:)

If you are ever curious where Red Bear has been lately because you don’t see him in my blog that often now, here is why. Whenever possible, he likes to sit in the car, climb up through the sunroof, and sit on top of the car to watch us taking pictures.  And he likes to supervise, saying, “Look out, Mommy, there’s a car coming,” and things like that.  Or, if nothing else is going on, he sings, very loud…..Oh, about his weird hair, he cut his hair the other day by himself!   It was really too late for me to do anything about it when he proudly showed me that he cut his hair, “ALL BY MYSELF!” (By the way, he used some new “safe kid’s scissors” his Dad bought for him in a crafts store — and I could not believe how sharp they were!)

会不会有人奇怪这段时间很少见到RB的相片在我博客里出现? 其实每次照相他都有在, 就象最后一张相片里一样, 坐在敞了顶的车里看我们照相, 当监督员, 有的时候还会大叫”:妈妈小心! 有车来了!”….没有车来往的时候, 他也会很大声的在高歌, 没消停过…..哦! 如果你觉得他今天的头发看起来很奇怪, 那是因为他自己剪了自己的头发来着. 他当时挥着剪刀很自豪的告诉我, 他自己剪头发了! 差点没把我吓晕 . 都怪他老爸, 从儿童手工店买了两把剪刀给他, 这儿童店的手工剪刀也太锋利了吧.

Sometimes I look back at all my old outfit posts and seriously think that I should define one specific style for myself. It’s not that easy! For me, I got involved in fashion styling really not too long ago. A couple years ago, before I moved to the U.S.A., living in China was really pretty blind to most of the blogosphere — you know, we had no Facebook, no twitter, none of the stuff connected with blogspot. Here in America we have everything on the Internet, and I am now like a little kid, exploring this new world all at once! It’s like when I was a kid, before I learned what kind of sport that I was really good at, I played all of them and had fun whether I was good or not!

And you know what acne means, right?” Hehehe….  Oh boy, oh boy!

有些时候, 我会回头看看自己以前的一些搭配, 会有很认真的想法: 想要把自己固定于某一种风格. 但其实说起来容易, 做起来真的很难.

说实话,  我其实接触时尚的时间并不长. 几年前来美国定居前, 在中国的生活基本是与博客界无缘, 你们也知道的, 在国内互联网有不少禁忌, 而在美 国这里互联网真的是无所不通. 在这里生活的我, 现在就象是个小孩子,  对任何的事情都以新鲜的角度去看待.  所以个人风格现在对我而言, 就象是 一个小孩子学玩各种运动, 说不清楚到底擅长什么, 但是什么都想玩, 而且乐在其中.

好了, 谢谢大家在周末听我在这里胡说八道的. 谈谈我今天的最爱吧–ACNE品牌. 很好笑的是, 当我第一次在这里发搭配写有一双ACNE品牌的靴子的时候, 老公很认真的问我说:” 你确定这个拼 写是A-C-N-E? 你知道acne(痤疮)是什么意思的, 对吧?”….呵呵

As I told you a couple days ago, I have been working on some DIY projects these days, and here is one of the results that I am pretty happy with—a Neon Necklace, layering it with another neon necklace from RocksPaperMetal(last seen here).  Cheer the neck party on!

And, layering necklaces is one of my obsessions these days, what’s yours?

In Chinese:  前几天已经和大家说了, 这段时间忙活了一些DIY工程, 其中一个比较满意的作品就是这条荧光色项链, 其实图片里的是两条项链,  用了另外一条项链来叠穿, 你可以在这里看看另一条项链的原形, 两条项链叠加看起来更生动更精彩.

I don’t hide it, I like to accessorize everything with neon color right now. The big area neon style is something I can’t pull off, so I collect all the little ones — got this belt from Target, and the neon socks from Walgreen. And oh! I DIY some neon necklaces, too! You know, just get some neon spray and spray on some old necklaces; I will show you soon.

In Chinese: 最近对各种荧光色的小配件特别感兴趣. 大面积的荧光搭配不是我的风格, 也把握不了, 所以我喜欢收集各种小东西, 比如这条荧光色皮带和这双荧光色袜就是在美国的一些平价大型百货商店或药店里买的.

哦, 对了, 我最近还自己做了一些荧光色项链, 其实就是买了一些荧光色涂料喷在以前的一些旧项链上, 过几天给你看看:)
