The Eye Popping Bracelet

Many friends emailed me and asked me where did I get the rhinestone bracelet in the post of Lavender . Well. indeed, that’s from one friend’s jewelry collection. She is a big fan in collecting all kind of beautiful vintage costume jewelry:), and that night we were having dinner together, I saw this bracelet and immediately it caught my eye! Such a beautiful bracelet! There are 250 sparkling rhinestones in this 3″ round flower, and 1-1/2 wide silver stretch medium sized wrist band, which make it very flexible in all kind of width arms. Guess what, there is a signed on the back of the flower –Paula Abdul, you all know who she is, right? She was one of the judge on the “American Idol” TV show. and on the back of the bracelet, you will see the inscription–”He loves me, I love me more”…What a good saying, don’t you agree:)

Anyway, now my friend is planning to sell it, so if anyone is interested in buying this bracelet, you can contact my friend, her email is: sjacobs840@verizon.net. And a secret from me, this one wouldn’t cost over $250. and my friend said she will provide free international shipping too! Please don’t get me wrong, I am not start selling stuff on my website here, I am just doing a little favor to my friend and whoever might like it — a one-time only thing! :)

In Chinese: 一些朋友给我来信, 问我在Lavender这篇博文里戴的那个花朵手环是在哪买的.  其实这是我的一个朋友的收藏品, 她特别钟情收藏古董美首饰. 那天晚上我们一起吃饭, 我看到她拿出的这个花朵手环, 马上眼睛一亮, 真的是太漂亮了. 手环花朵 上有250颗装饰钻, 手环是用的1-1/2寸的银状的松紧链, 伸缩性很强, 所以各种宽度的手臂都是适用的. 还有更不可思议的, 花朵 背后还有一个标志—-Paula Abdul, 你们都知道她是谁对不对? 她就是<美国偶像>电视栏目的前评委!  花朵 的背面, 还刻有一句话—”他爱我, 可我更爱我自己”….呵呵…说得很好不是吗?

No “Happy Hour” At The Patio

Yesterday, we went to one of our favorite restaurant  with some friends for the Happy Hour Moment, where we can sit outside in the patio and watch the air plane taking off and landing in the sunset.  We have done it many times before, and enjoy pineapple juice and soda at half-price while Red Bear enjoys watching airplanes and running around the patio area.  We were having a good time. But at the end, we were told that they don’t offer Happy Hour in the patio anymore, and only for the indoor bar, which we don’t like and where RB cannot play.. What? What kind of marketing is this?? [In fact, before we went in we noticed that there were not too many cars in the parking lot, so other former customers must have learned they stopped the Happy Hour, and they quit going there.]  So bad, we lost one of our favorite place to hang out with friends, and the restaurant lost us, too.  But it was a happy time until the check arrived!

In Chinese: 昨天, 我们去了一家一直以来比较喜欢的餐馆, 和朋友们一起, 享受那里的”欢乐时光”时段(这个时段的酒水饮料都是半价的), 坐在餐馆的庭院里, 日落的时候看着飞机起起降降, 真的是一件很惬意的事情, 结果到了最后买单的时候, 却被告知说如果在庭院里用餐是不可以再享受”欢乐时光” 优惠了, 这项优惠只在室内享用. 搞什么呀? 这是谁人想出的市场策略???? (这下才想起来, 为什么餐馆外的停车场比往日少了很多车, 猜想肯定已经很以多老客户都已经受到”打击”了, 呵呵), 唉,,真可惜, 我们又少了一个与友人想聚的好去处, 而这餐馆也失去了我等客人们.

Last Friday

Wore this outfit to the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica last Friday, where Red Bear has fun watching many interesting street performers.   One important reason I go there is it’s a MUST to check out the Zara store there (too bad the Zara closer to our house has no women’s collection available :( ). I have to say the  Zara Fall collection is way too amazing – all you can think of is Chloe, Phillip Lim and Celine, but with affordable price. I can’t wait for Zara to open its online store in the USA!

I will have a good news to share with you, Chictopia, in conjunction with American Apparel, are going to give me a very sweet opportunity , but I can’t tell you　more details until the 1st of September, I would say this will be a giant honor to me. Since I joined the Chictopia big community last winter, my life has been full of surprises and fun! So please stay tuned with me!

In Chinese:上周五的时候去了一趟在Santa Monica的Promenade第三步行街，要说如果Red Bear去那里是为了欣赏街头艺术家的表演的话，　我去那里的主要任务就是去查看那里的ＺＡＲＡ店，（我家附近的ＺＡＲＡ店是没有Women系列的:( ). 逛完店的第一感觉就是ＺＡＲＡ这一季的秋装是越来越棒了，到处都有Chloe, Phillip Lim 和Celine的影子，当然价格就是平民的价格．都等不及下个月ＺＡＲＡ在美国开始提供网店．

另外，我有一个好消息要和大家分享，是和Chictopia与 American Apparel有关的，两者一起有个活动将要给我一个很美好的机会，但是具体的要等到９月１日才能和大家说了．现在能说的，这将会是我人生中很巨大的一个荣幸．自从去年冬天加入chictopia这个大社区，我的人生真的是充满了惊喜与愉悦！所以请大家一定要和我等到最后一起分享哦！
